Surrender to Happy Life

We accept direct surrenders for dogs and cats when space allows. This is not an emergency drop-off service — as a limited-intake shelter, we can only take in as many animals as we're able to properly care for.

  1. Email us to request a surrender form
  2. Provide up-to-date medical records and a recent trainer or behaviorist report
  3. We review your submission and, if it's a fit, place your pet in our surrender queue

This can take time depending on available space, foster homes, and your pet's individual needs — we'll stay in touch and guide you through it.
