Van Wyck Jr. High School Color Run and Adoptions
Get ready to add a little color to your Saturday… and maybe a new best friend, too 🐶🎨
Join Happy Life Animal Rescue on Saturday, May 30th from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM at the Van Wyck Jr. High School Color Run for a high-energy community event filled with fun, movement, and—of course—adorable, adoptable dogs!
We’ll be bringing a group of our lovable pups who are all searching for their forever homes. Whether you’re actively looking to adopt or just want to stop by for some tail wags and puppy kisses, we’d love to see you there.
What to expect:
- Meet a variety of adoptable dogs
- Chat with our team about the adoption process
- Learn more about fostering, volunteering, and getting involved
- Enjoy the excitement of the Color Run atmosphere!
Thinking about adopting? You can get a head start by registering to adopt ahead of time, or simply stop by and speak with one of our adoption counselors at the event.
This is a great opportunity to connect with our rescue, meet some incredible dogs, and be part of a fun local event—all at the same time.

Our adoption center is open Tuesday through Friday and most Sundays. Walk-ins are always welcome — no appointment needed. Come meet our animals any time during open hours.
