Meet Our Adoptable Dogs at Pets in the Park – Danbury, CT

Spend a fall Sunday at Pets in the Park in Danbury! Happy Life Animal Rescue will be at Danbury Town Park on Sunday, October 11, from 11 AM to 4 PM with adoptable dogs looking for their forever homes. Come find our tent, meet the dogs and enjoy one of the area’s favorite pet festivals.
What to expect
- Meet-and-greets with our adoptable rescue dogs
- Pet costume parade and contest at 3 PM
- Animal blessing at 1:30 PM
- Pet and shopping vendors, face painting, ice cream and hot dogs
- Free parking
Admission: $3 per person, kids under 12 free. Admission is set by the event host, and a portion of proceeds supports local animal rescues.

Our adoption center is open Tuesday through Friday and most Sundays. Walk-ins are always welcome — no appointment needed. Come meet our animals any time during open hours.
